5 values we work by

Pride & work ethic is a choice

Walk it like we talk it

No dragging boots, keep your chin up & overcome

We walk the road together

Blue collar confidence

Since its inception in 2001 Corrcoat Services Inc. has established a set of core values that we attribute to our success. We believe these core values are the key to our continued growth and advancement.

The first is that we believe Pride & Work Ethic is a choice.

When we are at work we are working hard and seeking more effective ways to go about it. While under performers are not tolerated, our hard-working conscientious workers are appreciated & rewarded. For example, employees have gone from Apprentice to Field Project Manager, with the support via education and experience funded by Corrcoat.

We Walk it like we talk it.

We are reliable and provide consistent performance of our duties whether someone is watching or not. We do not ask anyone to do things we would not do ourselves. Over the years, it was not uncommon to arrive in the morning and see our initial Corrcoat President Ed Raitt Jr. pushing a broom on the shop floor.

No Dragging boots. We keep our chin up and overcome.

The construction industry presents many challenges and we’ve experienced our fair share. What got us through past setbacks is what will get us through future challenges. We attest this to a few key traits: We accept responsibility for our mistakes and don’t expect a free pass. We push the naysayers aside respectfully and adapt to our current situation. A new plan is made and then with a positive attitude we roll with it!

We walk the road together

The four founders of Corrcoat were all tradespeople. Their experiences from working on construction sites is a key component of how Corrcoat is operated. We take care of each other all the way through our organization as if we are with the people on site. The lives of our team members on the shop floor or on field projects literally depend on it. From the Shop Labourer to the Leadership Team, we take continual action to help our colleagues do well no matter what position they hold. Our strong commitment to Safety, Industry and Trades training is a testament to this value. We have multiple team members that have achieved Red Seal, NACE and HSE Certifications with the support of the company.

When you put all these values together it’s what gives us our Blue Collar Confidence. We are not arrogant, but we hold experience and are confident in our knowledge of the Industrial Painting Trade and Business.
